We are seeking an exceptional **Operations Director** to oversee the management, reliability and performance of a state\-of\-the\-art **Tier III TCOS Gold data centre facilities.** **About the Role** As Operations Director, you will be responsible for the overall operational performance of multiple critical data centre environments, ensuring the highest levels of availability, reliability, security and compliance. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead operational strategy, drive continuous improvement, develop high\-performing teams, and ensure the facility meets both current and future business demands. This is a **high\-impact leadership position** requiring a **proactive, hands\-on approach** and the flexibility to respond to business\-critical events when necessary. **Key Responsibilities** **Strategic Leadership** * Develop and execute the operational strategy in line with business objectives. * Lead capacity planning and future growth initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement across all operational functions. **Operational Excellence** * Ensure the 24/7 availability and reliability of critical facility infrastructure. * Oversee power, cooling, security and maintenance operations. * Implement and maintain industry best practices for service delivery and operational management. **Team Leadership** * Build, motivate and develop a high\-performing operations team. * Set clear objectives and performance standards. * Ensure appropriate health \& safety, permit\-to\-work and operational training requirements are met. **Compliance, Risk \& Security** * Maintain compliance with key standards and certifications, **including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001\.** * Ensure robust physical and information security controls are in place. * Drive risk mitigation and business continuity planning **Budget \& Vendor Management** * Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimisation. * Develop strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and service providers. * Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to maximise value and performance. **Sustainability \& Business Continuity** * Lead sustainability initiatives and energy\-efficiency programmes. * Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing. * Champion operational resilience and environmental responsibility. **About You** We're looking for **a strategic and commercially minded leader** who thrives in a fast\-paced, highly regulated environment.
