Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste **Job Title: Restaurant Purchaser** **Location:** Qatar **Department:** Procurement / Operations **Reports To:** Restaurant Manager / Operations Manager **Job Summary** We are seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented **Purchaser** to manage the sourcing, ordering, and inventory of all food, beverage, and operational supplies for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement of high\-quality items at competitive prices while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste. **Key Responsibilities** * Source and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies * Ensure consistent quality and cost\-effectiveness of purchased items * Monitor inventory levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking * Coordinate with kitchen and management teams to forecast purchasing needs * Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements * Evaluate supplier performance and develop new vendor relationships * Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in procurement * Track market trends and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing decisions * Manage delivery schedules and verify received goods against orders * Control costs and support budgeting targets **Requirements** * Proven experience as a purchaser, buyer, or procurement officer (restaurant required) * Strong negotiation and communication skills * Good knowledge of food products, suppliers, and local market pricing * Ability to manage inventory and forecasting * Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities * Attention to detail and cost\-control mindset **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in restaurant or food service industry * Knowledge of HACCP or food safety standards * Existing supplier network is a plus **Key Skills** * Negotiation \& vendor management * Cost control \& budgeting * Inventory management * Analytical thinking * Time management **Salary \& Benefits** * Competitive salary based on experience * Health insurance and other benefits Pay: From QAR1\.00 per month Experience: * Restaurant Purchaser: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
