Strong experience in construction, road, and infrastructure projects **Job Purpose:** Implement cost control procedures and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with budgets, providing reliable forecasts and supporting effective project decision\-making. **Duties \& Responsibilities:** * Prepare and maintain project cost control plans and budgets. * Track and Monitor actual costs versus budget, analyze variances and identify trends. * Develop cost forecasts and cash flow projections, highlighting deviations. * Coordinate with project teams to validate cost data and implement corrective actions. * Participate in the development of cost control procedures and templates. * Manage cost coding and ensure proper allocation of costs to work breakdown structures. * Analyze committed costs, accruals, and booked cost to identify variances * Monitor CPI, SPI, CV and SV to assess project performance. * Develop and Issue Key Performance Indicators to evaluate cost code allocation, productivity, resource utilization, project performance. * Evaluate subcontractor and supplier cost . * Assist with change management by assessing cost impacts of changes. * Conduct cost risk analyses and maintain contingency allocations. * Provide training to junior cost engineers and contribute to the development of cost control systems. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in engineering. * 5\+ years cost control experience. * Strong experience in **construction, road, and infrastructure projects.** * Strong analytical skills and ability to work within multiple project teams. * Training in cost control software and forecasting techniques. * ERP System ( JD Edwards ).
