Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our Aluminum and Glass fabrication team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for aluminum and glass products, systems, and installation services by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation. The role requires close coordination with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for aluminum and glass systems (curtain walls, windows, doors, partitions, etc.). * Quantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services required for each project. * Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns. * Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery schedules for materials. * Prepare and submit detailed quotations and tender documents on time. * Collaborate with the engineering team to assess technical aspects of bids. * Review and adjust estimates based on site conditions, design changes, or client feedback. * Maintain an updated cost database for material, labor, and subcontractors. * Attend pre\-bid and post\-bid meetings as needed. * Support project teams during execution to ensure cost adherence and manage variations or scope changes. **Qualifications:** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of relevant estimation experience in the aluminum and glass industry. * Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminum composite panels (ACP), doors, windows, and glazing solutions. * Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift). * Familiarity with local and international building codes and materials. * Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience working on high\-rise, commercial, and industrial glazing projects. * Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
