This role is common in hotels, resorts, hospitality companies, cruise ships, and other customer\-facing environments. The focus is on creating a positive first impression, resolving issues, and maintaining smooth daily operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Guest Interaction:** Welcome guests, answer inquiries, and provide information about services, facilities, and local attractions. * **Check\-in/Check\-out:** Handle registration, check\-in, check\-out processes, and billing efficiently. * **Issue Resolution:** Address guest complaints, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally. * **Communication:** Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. * **Record\-Keeping:** Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and logs. * **Upselling Services:** Promote hotel services, packages, or amenities to enhance the guest experience. * **Safety \& Compliance:** Ensure adherence to safety, security, and operational procedures. **Skills \& Qualifications:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem\-solving and conflict\-resolution abilities. * Professional and friendly demeanor. * Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment. * Basic knowledge of reservation systems and office software. * High school diploma or equivalent; some roles may require hospitality certifications.
