Train and develop baristas on brewing and service standards **Key Responsibilities** * **Team Leadership \& Operations:** Lead, schedule, and supervise the barista team. Ensure smooth daily coffee bar operations during peak hours. * **Quality \& Consistency:** Prepare and oversee preparation of espresso\-based and specialty beverages. Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all drinks. * **Training \& Development:** Train, coach, and assess baristas on brewing techniques, espresso extraction, latte art, and service standards. * **Equipment \& Maintenance:** Maintain, clean, and calibrate espresso machines, grinders, and all coffee equipment. Report technical issues to management. * **Inventory \& Cost Control:** Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables. Minimize waste and manage par levels in line with budget. * **Menu \& Product Innovation:** Support development of new beverages and seasonal menus. Stay updated on coffee trends in the Qatar F\&B market. * **Hygiene \& Compliance:** Ensure strict adherence to Qatar food safety standards, HACCP, and municipality hygiene regulations. Maintain cleanliness of bar area. * **Customer Service:** Deliver excellent guest experience. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally. **Requirements:** * 5\+ years as Head Barista / Senior Barista in specialty coffee or high\-volume cafe. * Expert knowledge of espresso extraction, brewing methods, grinder calibration, and latte art. * Proven team leadership and training experience. * Strong understanding of coffee beans, origins, and roasting profiles * Professional Barista training/SCA certification preferred * Knowledge of Qatar food safety and health regulations is an advantage * Candidates locally available in Qatar preferred.
