This includes: * A competitive salary and benefits package * High\-quality associate accommodation in prime locations in the heart of Lusail and the Pearl * A birthday day off (because your milestones matter!) * Personalized development plans and continuous learning opportunities to support your career journey These benefits reflect our commitment to creating an environment where you thrive \- professionally and personally \- while building a meaningful career with us. **Your Role:** Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Supervise, train and inspect the performance of Laundry Attendants, Washers, Pressers and Uniform Attendants, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. * Assist in the laundry Department where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests. * Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level daily by checking, training and following the LQA, Forbes and Rosewood Brand standards. * Take the initiative and work productively within any given period and must work well under pressure. Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary. * Maintain complete knowledge of the department and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards. * Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level daily and demonstrate pride in the workplace with high\-level commitment. * Responsible for the punctual and professional collection and delivery of all guest laundry and dry\-cleaning items. * Count and verify all items collected against the laundry list provided by the guest. Ensure guest names, room numbers, and item counts are accurately recorded to avoid discrepancies * Thoroughly check garments for any existing damage, stains, or items left in pockets (e.g., jewelry, cash) and report these to a supervisor immediately before processing. * Confirm that specific instructions—such as folding trousers, light starch, or folding shirts—are perfectly adhered to. * Ensure that all items for dry cleaning are correctly marked, Check and test garments for color fastening * Check for any damage on received laundry prior to dry cleaning process * Refill chemicals, clean filters and service the machines as needed * Operate dry cleaning machine and ensure a high standard of dry cleaning * Load and unload of dry\-cleaning machines with correct load amount * Ensure the proper operation of all machinery and report any defects * Be full conversant with fire and safety procedures and adhere to them * Operate Laundry Services and all machines according to specifications. While processing cleaned articles through the machines, check the cleanliness and condition of each; separate damaged/stained articles. * Ensure proper organization in all areas, i.e. fold cleaned articles and stack into designated amounts by type and size. * Ensure document and process guest requests for laundry, dry cleaning and pressing of garments, hotel uniforms and designated management garments in accordance with departmental specifications. * Check and ensure clear lint and debris from drains, dryer filters and change filters as specified in departmental procedures. * Breakdown and clean work areas/equipment according to departmental standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas at all times and in all circumstances as well as maintain organization of supply/storage closets in accordance with departmental procedures. * Inspect all linen closets storage area regularly for proper linen par, and proper labeling on shelves. * Report to the Laundry Manager, all faulty equipment, damaged garments/linens, shortages, maintenance needs, safety hazards and problems. * Maintain accurate poundage records of dry cleaning and laundry according to departmental procedures. * Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow associates. * Control associate’s correct usage of chemicals, following the safety measures at all times. * Take charge of special projects when required / instructed. * Make sure to apply all emergencies procedures established in the Laundry Department in case of fire, bomb threat etc. Turn off the equipment before leaving the department and meet with all co\-workers in the meeting point as soon as possible. * All other duties as required.
