




Summary: Assists with inspections and testing of materials and products to ensure compliance with standards under close supervision. Highlights: 1. Gain experience in reporting and documentation JOB PURPOSE: Perform / Assist inspections and testing of raw materials, in\-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with FPIG’s standards and specifications. Works under the close supervision of senior QC inspectors \& QC Supervisors, with limited authority. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Policies and Procedures: Follow all operational procedures and QC work instructions. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements. * In\-Process Inspection and Product Inspection: Conduct basic in\-process checks on raw materials, resin mix ratios, and production parameters. * Perform online/offline inspections of products as per ITP/project requirements. * Perform non\-destructive and destructive testing under guidance. * Reporting \& Documentation: Prepare daily QC reports and maintain inspection records. * Assist in preparing documentation for TPI/client inspections. * Stock Checks: Participate in periodic stock counts. * Assist with calibration of tools and measuring equipment. * Preparation of reports, TPI inspection and release * Prepare the daily QC internal reports. * Carry out the final inspection. * Perform additional tests as per the ITP for the witness point of Customer/Client. * Mold \& Socket Sleeve inspection: Carry out steel mold and socket sleeve inspection either at the factory or at the supplier’s premises as per the relevant engineering drawings to ensure that those molds are manufactured as per the given approved drawings with assistance from senior inspectors. HSE Compliance * Use PPE and maintain work areas clean and safe. * Report unsafe acts, incidents, and near\-misses. SPAN OF COMMUNICATION Internal: Quality Engineer, Production, Projects and Delivery Departments. External: Third Party Inspectors. #### **Skills Description** Qualifications and Experience: * Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Chemical/Civil Engineering. Preferred Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Chemical/Civil). * At least 2 years of experience in quality control within a pipe manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment. Job\-Specific Skills: * QC inspection and testing of Raw Material and finished products * Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings * Ability to prepare reports * Ability to use measuring and testing equipment * Well versed in MS Office applications * Reading and writing English are a must * Accuracy in work * Unbiased \& work as a team member Core Competencies * Self\-Motivated * Teamwork * Accurate and attentive to details
