The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable suppliers, obtaining and evaluating technical quotations, comparing specifications and pricing, negotiating commercial terms, preparing purchase orders, and monitoring deliveries to ensure materials meet required technical and quality standards. The role will involve close coordination with technical, operations, and management teams to understand requirements, review product specifications, evaluate supplier capabilities, and ensure timely procurement. The candidate will also maintain supplier records, procurement documentation, and support cost optimization and supplier performance management.
