Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for employees **IT Support Technician** **Job Summary** We are looking for a reliable and customer\-focused IT Support Technician to provide technical support to employees and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and network equipment. The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, install and maintain IT equipment, and assist users with day\-to\-day technology needs. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide first\-line technical support for hardware, software, printers, and network\-related issues. * Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. * Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, application, email, and connectivity problems. * Set up new user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions. * Install software updates, security patches, and antivirus solutions. * Monitor and maintain IT equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary. * Document support requests, resolutions, and system changes using a help desk ticketing system. * Assist with network troubleshooting, including Wi\-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity. * Support IT projects such as hardware upgrades, system migrations, and office relocations. * Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and data protection procedures. * Provide basic user training on hardware, software, and cybersecurity best practices. **Requirements** * Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. * Previous experience in an IT support, help desk, or technical support role is preferred. * Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts. * Familiarity with printers, mobile devices, and common business software. * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and customer service abilities. * Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure. * Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Zendesk. * Basic understanding of networking, routers, switches, and VPNs. * Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 administration. * Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection. **Benefits** * Competitive salary * Health insurance (where applicable) * Paid annual leave and public holidays * Professional training and certification opportunities * Career growth and advancement opportunities * Supportive and collaborative work environment Pay: QAR46,000\.00 \- QAR60,000\.00 per year Work Location: In person
