Summary: This role involves providing exceptional customer service, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a welcoming and clean dining atmosphere. Highlights: 1. Assist guests in making menu selections. * Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately with professionalism and timeliness. * Ensure proper presentation of dishes and beverages. * Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods for any allergen cases. * Always follow allergen protocol. * Provide recommendations and answer customer questions about menu items. * Suggest additional items, specials, or promotions to enhance the dining experience. * Effectively communicate with the kitchen and other restaurant staff to ensure accurate and timely service. * Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction during their meals. * Keep dining areas clean and well\-organized. * Assist colleagues as needed. * Adhere to restaurant policies, including health and safety regulations. * Follow established procedures for order\-taking, serving, and handling payments. * Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance, adhering to the restaurant's dress code. * Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service and turnover of tables. * Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, promptly reporting any issues. * Accurately deliver checks and collect bill payments. * Carefully transport dirty plates, glasses, and silverware for cleaning. * Collaborate with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations, including parties. * Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing any guest concerns. * Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take proactive steps to correct any issues. * Thank the guests upon their departure. * Present a professional and well\-groomed appearance, adhering to the restaurant's dress code. * Reset tables promptly for the next guests.
