Ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist with closing activities **Job Title:** Accountant **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date accounting records. * Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Perform bank and account reconciliations. * Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports. * Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash\-flow management. * Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits. * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies. * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing activities. * Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly. * Maintain confidentiality of financial information. * Support management with financial analysis and other accounting\-related tasks. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Good analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. * Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent. * Experience with ERP/accounting systems. * Knowledge of local tax and VAT regulations. * Experience in a similar industry or organization.
