This role extends beyond beverage creation and remains a profession where guest service is paramount. Bartenders must use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar is welcoming and operates flawlessly. They must be able to communicate and work effectively with the entire hotel team—and with the broader community—as well as anticipate and respond to guest needs. A strong commitment to guest service and attention to detail is essential—from the moment money changes hands at the bar, to the quality of beverages served, to the advice provided to guests. Regardless of your role, certain fundamentals are essential to success: maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures or confidentiality requirements, and safeguarding company values through personal appearance—including uniform standards. Bartenders must remain standing and moving for extended periods (standing, sitting, walking…), and must physically engage in tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) unassisted; reaching items overhead or on the floor, which may involve bending and torso rotation. It is essential that employees perform all these tasks flawlessly—ensuring guest satisfaction and continued company prosperity. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: None.
