Key Responsibilities * **Production Oversight:** Supervise and coordinate daily activities, ensuring smooth workflow, meeting production targets and deadlines, and optimizing processes for efficiency and quality. * **Team Leadership:** Lead, train, mentor, and schedule production staff; resolve employee issues; and foster a culture of continuous improvement. * **Quality \& Safety Compliance:** Implement and enforce safety protocols (like HACCP), monitor processes for quality standards, and ensure adherence to company policies and food regulations. * **Reporting \& Administration:** Maintain accurate production records, generate reports, manage timesheets, and handle budget tracking for assigned areas. * **Collaboration:** Work with other departments (Quality Control, Shipping) to streamline workflows and achieve overall company goals. * **Problem Solving:** Identify and resolve issues, bottlenecks, and equipment problems on the floor. * Schedule and assign tasks to production workers. * Monitor machine operations and process flow. * Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards. * Train new hires on equipment, procedures, and rules. * Complete daily production reports and data entry. * Requisition necessary materials and supplies. * Conduct performance check\-ins and recommend personnel actions. * Support management goals while advocating for the team. Skills \& Knowledge Required * Understanding of food production processes and machinery. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Knowledge of safety regulations (HACCP, GMP). * Good PC skills (Word, Excel). * Problem\-solving and organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.
