Focus on preventive and corrective maintenance We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Plumber** to join our Facility Management team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem\-solving skills, and the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage, and piping systems. * Inspect plumbing systems and identify defects, leaks, blockages, or damaged components. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, water heaters, sanitary ware, and related equipment. * Repair or replace defective pipes, fittings, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures. * Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions with minimal disruption to facility operations. * Respond promptly to emergency plumbing breakdowns and maintenance requests. * Perform pressure testing and leak detection on water supply systems. * Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and technical specifications. * Ensure all plumbing work complies with local regulations, company procedures, and safety standards. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders. * Coordinate with other maintenance technicians and contractors when required. * Ensure proper use and maintenance of plumbing tools, equipment, and materials. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. * Support other maintenance activities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. **Qualifications and Requirements:** * High School Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in Plumbing or a related trade. * Minimum **5 years** of experience as a Plumber. * At least **3 years of experience in Facility Management**, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, or similar facilities. * Valid Plumbing Trade Certificate is preferred. * Additional certifications related to plumbing maintenance are an advantage. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems. * Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, and drainage systems. * Ability to read plumbing drawings and technical documents. * Knowledge of pumps, water heaters, sanitary fixtures, and piping systems. * Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures. * Good troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and under pressure. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations. * Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
