Summary: Design, deliver, and maintain building services (MEP, HVAC, fire protection) for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance and energy efficiency. Highlights: 1. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of building systems. **Overview** Design, deliver and maintain building services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection) for commercial and residential projects, ensuring performance, compliance and energy efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and review MEP systems: HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, electrical distribution, lighting, power, UPS, plumbing, drainage and fire protection systems. * Produce and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations and schedules; ensure compliance with local codes and international standards. * Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural teams; resolve design clashes and support BIM/CAD coordination. * Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and handover of building services systems; prepare commissioning plans and O\&M manuals. * Perform site supervision, quality inspections and progress reporting; manage snagging and rectification activities. * Specify equipment, prepare BOQs, evaluate vendor proposals and support procurement. * Implement preventive maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning for building services assets. * Monitor energy performance and recommend efficiency improvements and sustainability measures. * Ensure compliance with Qatar construction regulations, safety and environmental requirements. * Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and authorities; support permit approvals and inspections. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline. * 3–7 years’ experience in MEP/building services engineering, preferably in GCC or Middle East projects. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection and relevant codes (ASHRAE, NEC, local regulations). * Proficiency with HVAC/load calculations, pipe and duct sizing, electrical load schedules and lighting design. * Experience with BIM/Revit, AutoCAD and engineering calculation tools. * Good project management, coordination and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Professional certifications or memberships (Chartered Engineer, CEng, PE, or regional equivalents). * Experience with sustainability standards (LEED, Estidama or local green building programs). * Familiarity with building automation systems (BMS) and controls. * Arabic language skills or prior experience in Qatar. الراتب المدفوع: QAR٣٠٫٠٠ لكل ساعة موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
