Summary: This role involves producing engineering designs, managing projects across various civil disciplines, overseeing construction, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Highlights: 1. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance **Key responsibilities** * Produce design calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents for structural, transportation, geotechnical, water resources, and environmental projects. * Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies; evaluate subsurface conditions and constraints. * Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and bid packages; review contractor proposals. * Perform structural analysis and load calculations; select materials and design members per codes. * Develop stormwater management, drainage, flood control, and hydraulic models; design sewer and water distribution systems. * Oversee construction activities: inspect work, ensure quality control, resolve site issues, and administer contracts. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, planners, environmental specialists, utilities, and stakeholders). * Ensure projects comply with local building codes, regulations, permits, and environmental requirements. * Manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and change orders. * Use engineering software (AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation, STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, HEC\-RAS, SWMM) and BIM tools; produce technical reports. * Implement sustainability practices, resilience planning, and lifecycle considerations. * Provide client communication, progress reporting, and technical support during handover. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred for specialized roles. * Professional Engineer (PE) or chartered status preferred/required for senior roles and signing designs. * Typically 0–3 years for entry\-level, 3–7 years for mid\-level, 7\+ for senior roles; experience varies by specialization. * Strong knowledge of structural, geotechnical, transportation, and water resources principles as applicable. * Proficiency with design standards, local codes, and construction practices. * Advanced skills in engineering software and data analysis; strong Excel competency. * Excellent problem\-solving, project management, and communication skills. **Competencies and soft skills** * Technical rigor and attention to safety. * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. * Teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and client\-facing skills. * Creative/analytical thinking for design optimization. الراتب المدفوع: QAR٢٠٫٠٠ لكل ساعة موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
