We’re on the hunt for a hands\-on leader who’s as passionate about coffee as they are about creating a smooth, positive experience for both customers and team members. What you'll be doing: · Manage day\-to\-day operations, including end of day POS reconciliation and locking up of venue. · Leading, training and guiding other team members during shift; being the point of call for dealing with any customer issues. · Hiring and rostering of all FOH coffee team members, within labor KPI’s. · Ordering and management of stock, within ‘cost of goods’ KPI’s. · Inbox management, including customer and supplier email correspondence. · Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety standards. · Drive guest satisfaction through service excellence. · Assisting with barista duties if / when necessary. A bit about you: You’ve managed a cafe before and you love it – bonus points if you’ve spent years as a head barista. You’re a people person – you make both staff and customers feel welcome and valued. You’re genuinely passionate about specialty coffee – you know your beans and love a good chat about brew methods and flavour profiles.
