Utilize ERP/WMS systems for data analysis and reporting **Supply Chain Coordinator — Job Description** **Summary** * Coordinates and monitors the end\-to\-end supply chain activities to ensure timely, cost\-effective flow of goods and accurate inventory management. **Core responsibilities** * Order management: Process purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, confirm deliveries, and manage order documentation. * Inventory control: Maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs. * Logistics coordination: Schedule and track inbound/outbound shipments, arrange freight and carriers, and resolve transportation issues or delays. * Supplier relations: Communicate with vendors on lead times, capacity, quality issues, and performance; escalate and resolve supplier problems. * Demand support: Collaborate with demand planning, sales, and production to align inventory with forecasts and customer needs. * Data \& reporting: Maintain supply chain data in ERP/WMS, generate regular reports (inventory levels, ETA, stockouts, order status), and analyze trends to recommend improvements. * Process improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains, standardize procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Compliance \& documentation: Ensure import/export compliance, maintain bill of lading, customs paperwork, and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. * Issue resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies (damage, shortages, wrong items), coordinate returns and claims, and manage corrective actions. * Cross\-functional collaboration: Work with procurement, warehouse, production, quality, and customer service to meet service levels. **Typical duties (day\-to\-day)** * Review and confirm new purchase orders and supplier acknowledgments. * Monitor shipment statuses and update stakeholders on ETAs. * Match receiving records with POs and update inventory systems. * Investigate and resolve order or delivery exceptions. * Run inventory reports and perform cycle count tasks. * Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers for pickups/deliveries. * Communicate status to customers/internal teams and handle urgent requests. * Prepare documentation for customs and freight invoices. * Participate in supplier performance reviews and improvement meetings. * Support month\-end inventory reconciliation and metrics reporting. **Required qualifications** * Education: Associate degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field; bachelor’s preferred. * Experience: 1–3 years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory control. * Skills: Strong organizational, communication, problem\-solving, and multitasking skills. * Technical: Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and basic data analysis. * Attributes: Detail\-oriented, proactive, deadline\-driven, and team player. **Preferred qualifications** * Experience with international shipping, customs, or carrier contracts. * Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. * Certification (e.g., APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP) or training in supply chain management. **Working conditions** * Office or warehouse environment; may require occasional lifting, site visits, or liaising with distribution centers and suppliers. * Standard business hours, with occasional extended hours during peak seasons or supply disruptions.
