Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented **Senior Journal Editor** to lead editorial operations, oversee peer\-review processes, and ensure the publication of impactful scholarly content. This role requires a professional with strong expertise in academic publishing, editorial management, and research communication. The Senior Journal Editor will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, quality, and reputation of Mogito Journals. Key Responsibilities * Lead editorial processes for multiple journals, ensuring timely and high\-quality publication. * Oversee peer\-review workflows, liaising with authors, reviewers, and editorial boards. * Develop editorial policies and guidelines aligned with international publishing standards. * Ensure compliance with ethical standards in academic publishing. * Collaborate with researchers, institutions, and stakeholders to expand journal reach. * Monitor industry trends and implement strategies to enhance journal visibility and impact. * Mentor and guide editorial staff, fostering excellence and accountability. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related academic field. * Minimum 8–12 years of experience in academic publishing or editorial management, with at least 5 years in a senior role. * Proven track record of managing scholarly journals successfully. * Strong knowledge of peer\-review processes, editorial workflows, and publishing ethics. * Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. * Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and indexing databases (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.). * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, academic\-focused environment.
