Builds strategic client relationships and market intelligence Responsible for driving business growth within Qatar’s Oil, Gas \& LNG, Petrochemical, and other Industrial sectors for the AMPIS division. The role focuses on proactive business development, client engagement, and techno\-commercial support across tendering and contract phases, requiring strong knowledge of Qatar Energy standards, EPC processes, and project\-based sales cycles. A key aspect of this role includes driving business development activities related to AMPIS’s representation of Yokohama Rubber Co. (Marine Hoses Division), ensuring effective coordination, promotion, and conversion of high\-value RFQs and tenders originating from this principal. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Identify and perform key functions contributing to business growth and revenue generation: * Identify and develop new business opportunities with Qatar Energy, QatarEnergy LNG, major EPC contractors, and key Oil \& Gas operators in Qatar. * Establish and maintain strong relationships with consultants, procurement teams, project managers, and key decision\-makers. * Review RFQs, ITTs, and tender documents, and prepare comprehensive techno\-commercial proposals. * Coordinate with principals, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure full technical and commercial compliance. * Act as the focal point for all business development activities related to Yokohama Rubber Co., including RFQ management, client engagement, technical coordination, and conversion of strategic marine hose opportunities. * Ensure adherence to QatarEnergy project\-specific standards. * Attend pre\-bid meetings, clarification meetings, and technical discussions with clients. * Support commercial negotiations and contract finalization in coordination with management. * Monitor upcoming projects and maintain a robust and active opportunity pipeline. * Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives. * Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates. * Participate in industry exhibitions and events to support business development initiatives. * Maintain continuous engagement with key clients and principals. #### **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Annual revenue growth achievement * Tender win ratio * Client acquisition and retention rate * Gross margin achievement * Expansion of approved vendor registrations in Qatar for AMPIS and Principals. * Conversion rate and revenue contribution from Yokohama Rubber Co. (Marine Hoses Division) opportunities. ##### **1\.Business Development \& Market Expansion** Identify and pursue new business opportunities within: * Energy Sector (Oil \& Gas, LNG, Petrochemical) * International Oil \& Gas companies operating in Qatar * Qatar\-based EPIC contractors * Industrial and infrastructure sectors * Ministries and government entities Develop and implement business development plans aligned with AMPIS revenue and Gross Profit targets. Promote AMPIS represented principals and product lines through client meetings, presentations, and technical engagement. Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and provide periodic forecasts to management. ##### **2\.Qatar Market Intelligence \& Client Engagement** Build and maintain strategic relationships with: * Major energy operators and subsidiaries * International operators and service companies * EPC contractors and subcontractors * Industrial clients and public sector entities Leverage market intelligence to position AMPIS early in project cycles and vendor approval stages. Track market trends, competitor activities, and procurement strategies. ##### **3\.Commercial \& Tender Coordination** * Monitor and evaluate relevant tender opportunities aligned with AMPIS scope. * Coordinate internally for the preparation of competitive and compliant bids. * Support tender submissions, technical clarifications, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization. * Ensure all proposals meet approved Gross Profit targets and margin requirements. ##### **4\.Principal \& OEM Coordination** * Act as the commercial focal point between AMPIS and international principals, with particular focus on Yokohama Rubber Co. * Manage and coordinate all RFQs, tenders, and technical/commercial discussions related to Yokohama marine hose systems, ensuring timely response and alignment for high\-value and strategic opportunities. * Coordinate technical and commercial inputs for proposal development. * Identify and onboard new principles aligned with market demand. ##### **5\.Market Intelligence, Governance \& Reporting** Submit periodic reports on: * Opportunity pipeline * Gross Profit forecast * Client engagement status * Market observations and competitive analysis Maintain compliance with company policies, governance standards, and confidentiality requirements. Perform other duties assigned by the AMPIS Manager, BDM, MD / FD within the scope of the role. ##### **6\.Authority \& Accountability** Authorized to represent AMPIS in client meetings and commercial discussions (as delegated). Accountable for: * Development and management of opportunity pipeline * Strength and continuity of client relationships * Achievement of revenue and Gross Profit targets * Compliance with approved margin requirements. * Effective management and conversion of all Yokohama\-related Tenders/RFQs and strategic opportunities. * Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all commercial and client\-related information. ##### **7\.Training \& Development** Attend relevant training programs, seminars, and industry events to enhance technical and commercial competencies in line with AMPIS business activities. #### **Qualifications \& Experience** * **Educational Qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Industrial Engineering field. * **Professional Experiences:** + Minimum 7 to 10 years of proven experience in Business Development or Technical Sales within Qatar Oil \& Gas sector. + Strong knowledge of QatarEnergy (and its affiliates) vendor registration and tendering procedures. + Experience dealing with major EPC contractors operating in Qatar. + Strong knowledge of Oil \& Gas equipment, Piping systems, valves, compressors, pumps etc + Proven track record of achieving sales targets in Qatar market. + Proven experience in Energy sector marketing and client engagement. + Established professional network within: + Major energy operators + International oil \& gas companies + EPC contractors + Industrial and government entities + Experience in marine hose systems, offshore loading systems, or working with international OEMs such as Yokohama Rubber Co. is highly preferred. * **Licenses/Certifications:** + Valid Qatar Driving License. + Valid Engineering Certification in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical / Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering. * **Competencies:** + Strong negotiation and commercial acumen. + Techno\-commercial evaluation skills. + Excellent communication and presentation skills. + Market intelligence and project tracking capability. + Customer/Client relationship management capability. + Strategic planning, presentation and analytical skills. + Strong understanding of Qatar energy and industrial market landscape. + Knowledge of EPC project lifecycle and procurement processes. + Familiarity with tendering procedures of major Qatar clients. + Commercial acumen with focus on Gross Profit and margin optimization. + Market intelligence analyzation and reporting skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication. + Ability to coordinate effectively with cross\-functional teams. + Professional integrity and business ethics. + Language: English (Arabic advantage). **Job Category:** Engineering **Job Type:** Full Time **Company:** Almuftah Contracting \- Oil \& Gas **Location:** Ras Laffan
