Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on chiller plants and HVAC equipment, troubleshoot faults, and ensure electrical safety. Highlights: 1. Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on chiller plants. 2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in chillers, pumps, motors, VFDs. 3. Maintain electrical control circuits, MCC panels, and associated equipment. Key Responsibilities * Perform **preventive and corrective electrical maintenance** of chiller plants and HVAC equipment. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in **chillers, pumps, motors, MCC panels, control panels, and VFDs**. * Inspect and maintain **electrical control circuits, contactors, relays, overloads, breakers, and sensors**. * Check motor performance, insulation resistance, current, voltage, and phase balance. * Troubleshoot **chiller electrical/control alarms** and assist mechanical technicians during breakdowns. * Carry out maintenance of **CHW pumps, condenser water pumps, cooling tower motors, and associated equipment**. * Monitor and troubleshoot **VFDs, starters, MCCs, PLC/control panels, and interlocks**. * Perform testing and replacement of electrical components such as **capacitors, contactors, relays, fuses, breakers, sensors, and switches**. * Read and interpret **electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and control circuit diagrams**. * Assist in troubleshooting **BMS signals and chiller control systems**. * Ensure proper earthing, cable connections, termination, and electrical safety of equipment. * Record maintenance activities, breakdowns, readings, and spare\-parts requirements. * Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. * Comply with **electrical safety procedures, LOTO, PPE requirements, and site safety regulations**. * Coordinate with HVAC/Mechanical Technicians and Supervisors during major maintenance and shutdown activities. Required Qualifications \& Experience * **ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent** **(MOFA attested)** mandatory. * **Minimum 5 years of relevant experience** in electrical maintenance. * Hands\-on experience in **chiller plants or large facilities** is preferred. * Strong knowledge of **motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, electrical protection devices, and control circuits**. * Experience troubleshooting electrical faults in **centrifugal/screw/scroll chillers** is an advantage. * Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits. * **Qatar/GCC maintenance experience** is preferred. * Candidates available in **Qatar** are preferred.
