ELV Engineer

Description

Summary: Design, install, test, and troubleshoot ELV, ICT, security, and integrated technology systems, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction. Highlights: 1. Execute and supervise diverse ELV works including CCTV and access control. 2. Configure and commission devices, servers, and software platforms. 3. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities on technical matters. Design, install, test, commission, troubleshoot, and hand over ELV, ICT, security, and integrated technology systems in line with project specifications, approved drawings, Qatar regulations, and company quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Execute and supervise ELV works: CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, intercom, structured cabling, active networking, PA/BGM, AV, IPTV/SMATV, parking and gate barrier systems * Configure and commission devices, servers, controllers, switches and software platforms; verify integrations * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities on technical and site matters * Ensure compliance with MOI\-SSD requirements, HSE rules, and QA/QC procedures * Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive/corrective maintenance * Support presales with site surveys, solution architecture and BOQ validation * Conduct client demonstrations, user training, and snag closure through to handover Requirements * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer, or Instrumentation Engineering * Minimum 2 years' relevant experience; GCC/Qatar project experience preferred * Hands\-on knowledge of IP networks, TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, fiber/copper cabling, servers/storage and system integration * Experience with major CCTV, access control, networking or AV platforms; manufacturer certifications an advantage * Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office Pay: Up to QAR7,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
