Coordinate with stakeholders for approvals and inspections. **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly qualified Fire Engineer to join our team and oversee the design, implementation, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection systems while ensuring full compliance with local regulations, NFPA standards, and international fire safety codes. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in fire protection engineering, fire alarm systems, firefighting systems, risk assessment, and regulatory approvals, with the ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and review fire protection systems including fire alarm, firefighting, sprinkler, hydrant, suppression, and emergency evacuation systems. * Ensure all fire protection designs comply with applicable local regulations, NFPA standards, and international fire safety requirements. * Prepare fire strategy reports, technical documentation, and engineering calculations. * Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project teams, and relevant authorities for approvals and inspections. * Conduct fire risk assessments and recommend preventive measures to minimize hazards. * Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection systems. * Support approval processes for new projects, modifications, and renewals. * Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify fire hazards and ensure compliance. * Investigate fire incidents and prepare detailed technical reports with recommendations. * Ensure proper maintenance of fire safety equipment such as extinguishers, pumps, alarms, smoke detectors, and suppression systems. * Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on fire safety procedures and emergency preparedness. * Coordinate emergency response planning and fire drills. * Maintain records of inspections, certifications, compliance reports, and system documentation. * Stay updated with changes in fire codes, regulations, and industry best practices. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5–10 years of experience in fire protection engineering, fire safety, or related roles. * Strong knowledge of local authority approval processes and fire safety regulations. * In\-depth knowledge of NFPA codes and international fire safety standards. * Experience in fire alarm systems, firefighting systems, suppression systems, and life safety systems. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and fire system design software. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and coordination abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Valid driving license is an advantage. **Preferred Certifications:** * Fire safety certification from recognized authorities * NFPA Certification * PMP Certification * NEBOSH / IOSH Work Location: In person
