Summary: Direct instrumentation activities, including installation, calibration, testing, and pre-commissioning, ensuring compliance and coordination with various teams. Highlights: 1. Instrumentation Supervisor – Job Description Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and direct the daily activities of instrument technicians and subcontracted crews across installation, calibration, loop checking, testing, and pre\-commissioning activities. Review and interpret P\&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument indexes, datasheets, and instrument hook\-up drawings, and verify installed work against approved engineering documents prior to energization and loop testing. Verify calibration of transmitters, control valves, and associated field instruments, and witness loop checks through completion and formal acceptance. Coordinate with Commissioning, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, and QA/QC teams to ensure proper sequencing, work\-front access, system readiness, and timely execution of instrument activities. Enforce compliance with Permit\-to\-Work (PTW), approved method statements, risk assessments, and site HSE requirements for all instrumentation activities. Maintain and review calibration certificates, test records, inspection reports, check sheets, and other instrumentation quality documentation. Liaise with QA/QC to coordinate inspection hold points, witness points, and required inspections for instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Manage and monitor the site instrumentation workforce, ensuring adequate manpower, productivity, competency, and adherence to the project schedule. Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with their contractual scope, approved procedures, quality requirements, and project program. Identify, track, and drive instrumentation punch\-list items to closure, verifying that completed systems are fully ready for commissioning and handover.
