Monitors welding activities and resolves welding-related NCRs **Job Purpose** The Material cum Welding Engineer ensures material control, welding compliance, and quality during fabrication, meeting project specifications, codes, and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Review and approve material specs, MTOs, and ensure proper traceability and certification (MTCs). * Inspect incoming materials and coordinate storage, handling, and QA/QC requirements. * Prepare and maintain WPS, PQR, and WPQ as per project and code requirements. * Monitor welding activities, consumables control, and ensure compliance with approved procedures. * Support fabrication, inspection (NDT), and resolve welding\-related NCRs. * Coordinate with client, consultant, and third\-party inspectors. * Maintain complete documentation and provide progress reports. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent. * 8–12 years of experience in fabrication, preferably in Oil \& Gas. * Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, and API standards. **Skills** * Strong fabrication and welding knowledge * Good understanding of codes and drawings * Effective coordination and communication skills Job Type: Full\-time Pay: QAR13,000\.00 \- QAR14,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * How many years of Oil \& Gas Experience do you have ? * Do you have experience working in Fabrication Shop?
