**Job Title:** Procurement Assistant – Trading Division **Company:** Solarline Trading WLL – Doha, Qatar **Department:** Procurement / Supply Chain **Reports To:** Procurement Manager / Trading Supply Chain Lead **About Solarline Trading** Solarline Trading WLL is part of the Solarline Group, a diversified business conglomerate in the Middle East. The Trading division is a **major importer and stockist of industrial products** including PPE, marine equipment, oilfield \& industrial valves, pipe fittings, tools, electrical products and other consumables sourced from quality vendors worldwide. The division focuses on **prompt supply and reliable deliveries** to customers across sectors. **Job Summary** The **Procurement Assistant** supports the trading division’s procurement and supply operations in Doha by coordinating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring stock availability to meet customer and sales requirements. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams (sales, warehouse, logistics and finance) and adherence to company policies and quality standards. **Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Operations** * Assist in sourcing and procuring industrial trading products (tools, fasteners, valves, PPE, etc.) from approved suppliers. * Collect and compare quotations from vendors to support cost\-effective purchasing. * Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs); ensure appropriate approvals. * Track order confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedules. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. * **1–3 years** experience in procurement or supply chain support; experience in industrial trading or supply environments preferred. * Basic understanding of sourcing, purchase order workflows, and stock management. **Skills \& Competencies** * Strong **organizational and communication skills**. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** (Excel, Word); familiarity with ERP/inventory systems is a plus. * Attention to detail with ability to work under deadlines in a fast\-paced trading environment. * Team\-oriented and able to coordinate across departments (sales, warehouse, logistics, finance). * Exposure to Qatar/GCC sourcing and supplier networks. * Understanding of industrial products and trading supply cycles. * Ability to multitask and proactively solve procurement issues.
