Educate clients on system operations and provide technical support **Security System Technician** **We are seeking a skilled Security System Technician** to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential and commercial security systems, including CCTV, access control, and burglar alarms. Our ideal candidate is a detail\-oriented problem solver with excellent technical skills and a strong commitment to customer service. **Scope of Work** · **Install and Configure:** Mount, wire, and program security systems, IP cameras, access control panels, and fire/burglar alarms CCTV cameras. · **Troubleshoot and Repair:** Diagnose system failures, test circuits, inspect backup batteries, and replace faulty components. · **Network Integration:** Set up system routing, connect components to local networks, and configure remote viewing applications. · **Client Education:** Walk customers through system operations, test functionality with them, and answer basic troubleshooting questions. · **Maintenance \& Records:** Complete routine system inspections and maintain accurate digital logs of work orders and materials used. **Qualifications:** · **Experience:** 2\+ years of hands\-on experience in low\-voltage wiring, security system installation, or electrical trades. · **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of IP networking, wiring diagrams, and testing tools (multimeters, tone generators). · **Physical Stamina:** Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and lift up to 50 lbs. · **Requirements:** Minimum High school diploma/GED, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
