Summary: The Planner/Scheduler ensures project timelines for steel fabrication, erection, and finishing are met by planning, monitoring, and coordinating resources across all project phases. Highlights: 1. Critical role in project planning, monitoring, and control 2. Focus on steel fabrication, erection, and finishing activities 3. Utilizes Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling Planner/Scheduler plays a critical role in planning, monitoring, and controlling project timelines, ensuring steel fabrication, erection, and finishing activities are executed on schedule while coordinating resources across engineering, procurement, and site execution. **Core Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools. * Create baseline schedules covering design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, erection, and finishing. * Prepare lookahead schedules (30\-day, 90\-day) aligned with site progress and material availability. * Monitor fabrication and erection progress against milestones; update schedules with actual data. * Identify delays and variances; perform time\-impact analysis (TIA) and propose recovery plans. * Coordinate with stakeholders (project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers). * Integrate schedules with cost control and resource planning to support earned value management (EVM). * Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and client reporting standards. **Required Skills \& Competencies** Technical Skills * Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel. * Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) and resource\-loaded scheduling. * Ability to interpret PEB fabrication drawings, erection sequences, and BOQ data. * Familiarity with procurement cycles, logistics, and site erection workflows **Education \& Experience** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering . * Experience: 08\+ in construction scheduling, preferably with steel/PEB projects. * Certifications: Planning \& Scheduling Professional (PSP – AACE), Primavera P6 certification **Risks \& Challenges in PEB Scheduling** * Fabrication delays due to shop drawing approvals or material shortages. * Logistics bottlenecks in transporting steel frames to site. * Erection sequence conflicts if cranes or manpower are not aligned. * Weather impacts (wind, rain) affecting steel erection safety and timelines. * Coordination gaps between design, procurement, and site execution. Work Location: In person
