Ensuring compliance with the highest quality and safety standards and achieving project objectives Job Description We are seeking a Senior Electrical Manager with extensive leadership experience in electrical project and operations management to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and safety standards, delivering projects on schedule and within approved budgets, and complying with applicable regulations and standards in the State of Qatar. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage all electrical activities across projects and operations. Supervise the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in accordance with technical specifications. Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications. Ensure compliance with local and international standards, including QCDD requirements, KAHRAMAA regulations, and IEC and NFPA standards as applicable. Develop operational plans and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely project delivery. Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization efficiency. Lead engineering, technical, and contractor teams, providing technical guidance and support. Coordinate with other departments, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project execution. Supervise Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities and ensure performance quality. Implement Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and manage electrical risks. Prepare and submit periodic technical and administrative reports to senior management. Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering process development. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical engineering or electrical projects, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, utilities, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems, distribution systems, and electrical protection. Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, or equivalent. Familiarity with KAHRAMAA regulations, QCDD requirements, and relevant international standards. Professional certifications such as PMP or any other relevant certification are preferred. Salary: QAR 370,000.00 per year Work Location: On-site
