Proficiency in industry-standard transportation engineering software We are looking for a talented and motivated **Transportation/ Road Engineer** to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, highways, intersections, and traffic management systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and public agencies to develop innovative, safe, and sustainable transportation solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities * Prepare transportation engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documentation. * Conduct traffic impact assessments, transportation studies, traffic operations analyses, and capacity evaluations. * Develop geometric designs and improvement plans for roads, highways, intersections, and multimodal transportation facilities. * Perform traffic signal, roundabout, and intersection analyses using industry\-standard software. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout project development and delivery. * Review engineering drawings and project documents to ensure compliance with local and international design standards and regulations. * Support projects through all phases, from feasibility studies and conceptual planning to detailed design, construction, and project closeout. * Assist in preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules. * Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities as required. * Stay current with transportation engineering best practices, emerging technologies, and applicable design standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. * Professional Engineering (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification is an advantage. * 3–8 years of relevant experience in transportation or highway engineering (experience level may be adjusted based on the position). * Experience in roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, SIDRA, or similar transportation engineering software.
