Coordinate contractors, materials, and multiple plant stakeholders **Turnaround Static Engineer (Ammonia)** **Location:** Qatar **Industry:** Fertilizer / Ammonia / Process Plant **Experience:** 5–10 years of direct, relevant experience **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced **Turnaround Static Engineer** to support the planning, preparation and execution of major plant turnarounds within an ammonia/process plant environment. This is a **hands\-on turnaround execution role** for an engineer who understands static equipment and can effectively coordinate field execution, contractors, materials, schedules and multiple plant stakeholders to deliver turnaround activities safely, on time and to the required quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** · Plan and coordinate **static equipment turnaround/shutdown activities** from preparation through execution and close\-out. · Develop and review **work packages, JSA, method statements and execution plans**. · Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, Planning, Materials and contractors. · Monitor daily execution, progress, critical/near\-critical activities and recovery actions. · Coordinate contractors, manpower, tools, materials and equipment to ensure execution readiness. · Support inspection findings, technical issues and **turnaround scope changes** through to resolution. · Participate in risk assessments, HSE reviews, **Permit\-to\-Work activities and PSSR/start\-up readiness**. · Maintain progress reports, punch lists, readiness trackers and turnaround documentation. · Support turnaround cost estimates, budget\-vs\-actual monitoring and lessons learned. · Contribute to post\-turnaround reviews and continuous improvement. **What We Are Looking For** **Essential:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline. * **5–10 years of direct experience in process\-plant maintenance/turnaround activities.** * Proven hands\-on experience in **plant turnarounds/shutdowns**, preferably involving static equipment. * Strong experience with static equipment such as **pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, tanks and associated piping/mechanical systems**. * Experience coordinating contractors and multiple disciplines during turnaround execution. * Strong understanding of **HSE, PTW, risk assessment, work\-pack preparation and startup readiness/PSSR**. **Preferred:** * Experience in **ammonia, fertilizer, petrochemical, refinery, oil \& gas or similar process industries**. * Working knowledge of **SAP PM/MM**. * Familiarity with **Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools**. * Experience with turnaround cost control, scope changes and progress monitoring.
