Summary: Responsible for the installation, operation, preventive, and corrective maintenance of diesel generators to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and compliance. Highlights: 1. Ensure compliance with HSE standards **Responsible for the installation, operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel generators and associated systems. Ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards.** Key Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel generators and related equipment. * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in generators. * Monitor generator performance, fuel consumption, and efficiency. * Ensure proper functioning of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and control panels. * Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance logs and reports. * Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and repairs. * Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety \& Environment) standards. * Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new generators. * Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of power. * Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and tools. * Provide technical support and guidance to technicians. Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in generator maintenance (preferably telecom or industrial sector). * Valid Qatar Driving License preferred. * Strong knowledge of diesel generator systems, control panels, and troubleshooting. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Good problem\-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations. Preferred Skills: * Experience in telecom site maintenance. * Knowledge of fuel systems and load management. * Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
