**Job Description** We are seeking an experienced **Electrical Technician (HV / MV \& LV)** for a utility\-scale **Solar Power Plant above 100 MWp**, as part of a tender submission. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems to ensure reliable and efficient plant performance. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform electrical operation and maintenance activities within a **utility\-scale solar power plant (\>100 MWp)**. * Carry out maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of **numerical relay protection systems**. * Execute **transformer maintenance**, inspections, and fault diagnosis. * Perform **MV and HV cable jointing, termination, and repair**. * Conduct maintenance and servicing of **vacuum circuit breakers**. * Perform **MV motor maintenance** and operation and maintenance of **MV/LV motors**. * Support plant maintenance activities on **HV substations**, switchboards up to **6\.6 kV**, and associated electrical equipment. * Maintain and troubleshoot **UPS systems, thyristor rectifiers, and general plant electrical utilities**. * Participate in plant operation and maintenance involving **HV, MV, and LV electrical systems**. * Perform **switching and operating activities** on plant systems rated at **1500V DC, 11 kV, and 33 kV**, in compliance with safety procedures. * Ensure all work complies with **HSE requirements, OEM recommendations, and approved operating procedures**. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation. **Qualifications \& Experience** * **Three\-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification**. * **Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience** as an Electrical Technician. * Proven experience in **solar power plants above 100 MWp**. * Strong hands\-on experience with: * HV, MV, and LV electrical systems * Numerical relay protection * Transformers and switchgear * MV/HV cable jointing and repair * Vacuum circuit breakers * MV and LV motors * UPS and thyristor rectifier systems * **Switching and operational experience at 1500V DC, 11 kV, and 33 kV** is highly desirable. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with **PLCs, HVAC systems, and instrumentation**. * Familiarity with **computer\-based man\-machine interfaces (MMI/HMI)**. * Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a high\-voltage environment. **Computer Skills** * **Computer literacy is essential**. * Familiarity with **MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)** or equivalent office software. **How to Apply** Candidates meeting the above requirements are encouraged to apply with an updated CV and relevant certifications to **info@trustarabia.qa.** Job Type: Full\-time
