**Job Purpose:** The Swimming Pool Maintenance Foreman is responsible for supervising daily maintenance, cleaning, and operation of swimming pools, water features, and related equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and functionality as per company and **Qatar Civil Defense** standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and coordinate the activities of pool technicians, cleaners, and maintenance staff. * Perform routine inspection of swimming pools, filtration systems, pumps, and chemical dosing systems. * Ensure water quality testing (pH, chlorine, alkalinity) and maintain proper chemical balance. * Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, dosing units, and control panels. * Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. * Maintain detailed records of daily pool readings, maintenance logs, and chemical usage. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Coordinate with suppliers for pool materials, chemicals, and spare parts. * Report maintenance issues and submit regular status reports to the supervisor/engineer. * Train new staff in pool operation, safety, and maintenance procedures. * Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing discipline. * Minimum **5 years of Supervision experience** in swimming pool operation and maintenance * Strong knowledge of **pool filtration systems, chemical dosing, and water treatment**. * Ability to read and understand **technical drawings and manuals**. * Good leadership, planning, and communication skills. * Basic computer knowledge for reporting and scheduling.
