Job Description: Job Title: Safety Officer (HSE) **Industry:** Oil \& Gas / Civil Construction **Project Duration:** 1 Year (Project\-Based) **Experience Required:** Minimum 5 Years (Mandatory) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Safety Officer (HSE)** to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on a **1\-year Oil \& Gas or Civil Construction project**. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture on site. Key Responsibilities * Implement and enforce **HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans** * Conduct **daily site safety inspections** and risk assessments * Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions * Ensure compliance with **local and international safety standards** * Conduct **toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions** * Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports * Monitor use of **PPE** and safe work practices * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters * Maintain **safety documentation, permits, and records** * Ensure compliance with **permit\-to\-work systems** and method statements Mandatory Requirements * **Minimum 5 years of proven experience** as a Safety Officer (Oil \& Gas or Civil Construction) * **Valid experience certificates** (mandatory) * **Recognized HSE certifications**, such as: * NEBOSH * IOSH Managing Safely * Strong knowledge of **HSE laws, regulations, and standards** * Experience working on **project\-based construction or oil \& gas sites** * Ability to work independently and under site pressure Preferred Skills * Strong communication and reporting skills * Leadership and safety awareness training capability * Familiarity with emergency response procedures * Computer skills for reporting and documentation Contract Details * **Project Duration:** 1 Year * **Location:** Project Site * **Employment Type:** Contract / Project\-Based Job Type: Full\-time Job Type: Full\-time
