Provide excellent end-user support **Option 1: General Template – IT Professional** **Job Title:** IT Professional **Department:** Information Technology **Reports To:** IT Manager / Director of Technology **Employment Type:** Full\-time / Pat\-time **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Professional to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security, and efficiency while providing excellent end\-user support. **Key Responsibilities** * Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals) and software (OS, applications, utilities). * Monitor and maintain network performance, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless access. * Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to internal users, resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues. * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory / Azure AD). * Implement and enforce IT security policies, including backups, antivirus, patch management, and data protection. * Maintain IT documentation: asset inventory, network diagrams, SOPs, and user guides. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, warranties, and support. * Participate in IT projects (migrations, upgrades, rollouts). **Required Qualifications** * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 2–5 years of hands\-on IT support or administration experience. * Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments; experience with Linux is a plus. * Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). * Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams administration. * Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures. * Strong problem\-solving, communication, and customer service skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Certifications: CompTIA A\+, Network\+, Security\+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or CCNA. * Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Workspace). * Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
