Summary:
This role involves coordinating and monitoring all aspects of contracted projects from kick-off to closeout, serving as a communication bridge between stakeholders, and ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards.

**Position : Project Engineer/ Coordinator**
**Main Duties, Tasks, and responsibilities:**
\-Coordinate and monitor all awarded contracts/projects from project kick\-off until final delivery and closeout.
\-Act as the primary communication bridge between clients, fabrication shop, QA/QC, procurement, and operations departments.
\-Review client purchase orders, contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and delivery schedules.
\-Conduct daily follow\-up with fabrication shop supervisors, production engineers, and workshop teams regarding project status.
\-Coordinate material sourcing and procurement activities as per project requirements and delivery priorities.
\-Communicate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, material availability, technical compliance, and delivery schedules.
\-Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, coatings, and subcontract services required for fabrication activities.
\-Monitor fabrication progress and identify potential delays, shortages, or technical issues affecting project completion.
\-Coordinate with QA/QC department for inspections, testing activities, documentation, and client approvals.
\-Arrange and coordinate third\-party inspections, client visits, and witness inspections whenever required.
\-Prepare and submit weekly, and monthly project progress reports to management and clients.
\-Follow up with clients regarding approvals, technical clarifications, inspection schedules, and delivery coordination.
\-Ensure all fabrication activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
\-Track project milestones, pending activities, and critical action items to ensure timely completion.
\-Coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery arrangements for completed products and equipment.
\-Maintain proper project documentation including correspondence, material records, inspection reports, and completion dossiers.
\-Support estimation and contracts department during variation orders, additional scope works, and project revisions.
\-Coordinate manpower and workshop resource allocation in line with project priorities.
\-Comply with OHS\&E Manual requirements
\-Follow OHS\&E guidelines, specific procedures, plans and programs
\-Lead and/or participate in all programs relevant to OHS\&E Management systems manual
\-Report unsafe acts/unsafe conditions
\-Stop any work if found to be unsafe
\-Wear mandatory and/or specific PPE required for the job, i.e., impact resistance gloves while handling heavy metals, pipes, structure, etc
\-Follow and respect signage’s, HSSE bulletins and posters concerning OHS\&E preventive programs
\-Report incidents immediately to the Superior and/or management or to the HSSE personnel
\-Ensure work crew follows the roles and responsibilities stipulated below
\-Provide guidance to employees when needed to ensure OHS\&E risk are mitigated, minimized or prevented
\-Follow specific instructions related to OHS\&E
**Desired Qualification \& Experience Required:**
\-Full time Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Industrial Engineering \& Work Experience of 5 years and minimum 3 years’ experience the same field.
\-Computer literate in MS Word/Excel/Power Point and preferably with SAP/ERP knowledge.
\-Age 30 to 40 years
\-Speaks and writes fluent English.
Pay: QAR3,500\.00 \- QAR5,000\.00 per month
