The role ensures network stability, security, and efficiency to support business operations and technological growth. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Network Design and Implementation** * Plan, design, and deploy network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points). * Implement network solutions for on\-premises and cloud environments. * Perform network capacity planning and scalability assessments. * **Network Administration** * Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. * Configure and maintain network hardware and software. * Manage network access controls and user permissions. * **Security and Compliance** * Ensure networks are secure from internal and external threats. * Implement firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. * Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. * **Maintenance and Troubleshooting** * Diagnose and resolve network problems promptly. * Perform regular network maintenance and updates. * Collaborate with IT teams to support end\-users and applications. * **Documentation and Reporting** * Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and documentation. * Generate performance and security reports. * Provide recommendations for network upgrades and improvements. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). * Hands\-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. * Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. * Problem\-solving and analytical skills. * Good communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders. * Certifications such as **CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network\+** are often preferred.
