Resolve technical and contractual issues, provide leadership We are seeking a highly experienced **Resident Engineer** to represent the Consultant in supervising major **building and infrastructure projects** in Qatar. The role involves full contract administration, construction supervision, quality control, and coordination with the Client, Contractors, and relevant Authorities to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with contract requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the supervision team. * Review and approve **shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, work programs, and technical submissions**. * Administer the Contract in accordance with conditions of contract (FIDIC or equivalent). * Review and certify **interim payment applications**. * Evaluate and assess **Variation Orders (Cost \& Time), Site Instructions, EOT claims, and Contractor Claims**. * Ensure construction works comply with **Contract specifications, approved drawings, QCS, and local authority regulations**. * Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedule and milestones. * Prepare and submit **monthly progress reports** to the Client. * Maintain the Resident Engineer’s daily diary and oversee daily reporting by supervision staff. * Resolve technical and contractual issues in coordination with Client and Project Management. * Provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight of supervision staff. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering** from an accredited university. * Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status preferred. * **UPDA/MMUP certification (Qatar)** preferred. **Experience Requirements** * **Minimum 18 years of professional experience**, including: * At least **10 years in a managerial or lead supervision role** within a consultancy environment. * Extensive experience in **large\-scale building and infrastructure projects**. * Strong experience in **Contract Administration under FIDIC conditions**.
