Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential financial risks **Cost Control Engineer** **Key Responsibilities:*** Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and overall financial performance. * Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review. * Track project progress against planned budgets and schedules. * Review contractor invoices and claims; verify cost accuracy and compliance with contracts. * Assist in developing project cost estimates, budgets, and cost breakdown structures (CBS). * Identify cost\-saving opportunities and highlight potential financial risks. * Provide financial and cost data to the project team to support decision\-making. * Maintain accurate, complete, and up\-to\-date cost\-related documentation. * Coordinate with planning, procurement, engineering, and construction teams. * Ensure adherence to company and project cost control policies and procedures. **Job Specific Skills:*** Cost breakdown structure (CBS) development and maintenance. * Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and application. * Contract cost monitoring and change management. * Financial risk identification and mitigation. * Preparation of monthly cost reports and dashboards. * Understanding of Oil \& Gas project lifecycles and cost drivers. **Experience:*** 3–7 years of experience in cost control or project controls. * Prior experience in Oil \& Gas or EPC projects is strongly preferred.
