**Job Summary**
The GPS Coordinator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting all GPS\-related operations within AOC\-GPS LLC. This role ensures accurate geolocation data collection, system functionality, and coordination between field teams and technical staff to support surveying, tracking, and geospatial projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Operate, monitor, and maintain GPS tracking systems and geospatial equipment
* Coordinate field teams to ensure accurate data collection and real\-time location tracking
* Validate and process GPS data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability
* Support mapping, surveying, and navigation projects with geospatial inputs
* Troubleshoot GPS hardware and software issues in coordination with technical support teams
* Maintain logs of GPS activities, device performance, and field operations
* Ensure compliance with company standards and data integrity protocols
* Assist in integrating GPS data into GIS platforms and reporting systems
* Provide technical support and training to field personnel on GPS devices
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and logistics teams to optimize route planning and asset tracking
**Qualifications**
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, Engineering, IT, or related field
* Experience with GPS systems, GIS software, or tracking technologies preferred
* Strong understanding of coordinate systems and geospatial data handling
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mapping tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS is an advantage)
* Good analytical and problem\-solving skills
* Ability to work in field environments and coordinate multiple teams
* Strong communication and organizational skills
**Preferred Skills**
* Experience in surveying, construction, logistics, or fleet tracking industries
* Familiarity with satellite navigation systems and real\-time tracking platforms
* Basic troubleshooting of GPS hardware devices
**Work Conditions**
* Combination of office\-based and field\-based work
* May require outdoor work in varying weather conditions
* Occasional extended hours depending on project requirements
Pay: Up to QAR640,000\.00 per year
