Client representative for transmission line projects Industry: Oil \& Gas City/Country: Doha, Qatar Location: Doha We are looking for an **Overhead Line Site Engineer** for one of our clients with the following details: **Start date: ASAP** **Location: Qatar across different sites (Al Kheesa \- 2 and Fereej Al Murrah)** **Duration: Undefined Period \- Long Terms Project)** Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering * 8\-15 years' experience in HV transmission line projects Strong experience in: * OHL construction (132kV \- 400kV or higher) * QA/QC and site supervision * Mandatory: Experience with Kahramaa standards * Strong reporting and coordination skills Knowledge of: * Stringing operations * Tower erection * Sagging \& tensioning Activities: * The Overhead Line Site Engineer will act as the client's representative on site, responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines for high\-voltage transmission line projects. Key Responsibilities * Supervise contractor activities for OHL construction (tower erection, stringing, foundations) * Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures * Review and approve materials delivered to site * Enforce HSE policies and ensure adherence to client and Kahramaa standards * Coordinate with utilities and authorities for permits and approvals * Review survey data, as\-built drawings, and construction documentation * Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, and test documentation * Identify non\-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented * Lead weekly coordination meetings with contractors and stakeholders * Prepare and submit weekly progress reports * Certify contractor progress and validate monthly invoices * Ensure timely completion of works in line with project schedule **If you are interested, kindly apply!**
