Summary: Worley is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to provide comprehensive process engineering services for large-scale projects, managing teams and ensuring compliance with all specifications and regulations. Leveraging extensive experience and AI\-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions. **Purpose**You will provide process engineering services on large or mega projects to Worley' and its customers', including technical support and supervision within the process engineering team. **Responsibilities*** Manage process engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. * Manage process engineering project requirements. * Manage process engineering services such as: + participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures; + ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes; + provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation. * Act as the process engineering Lead on specific projects. * If responsible for a team: + outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and + ensure the required services meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget. * Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements. * Keep up\-to\-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering. * If required, assist and support junior personnel within the process engineering team. * Communicate effectively with the process engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. * Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. **Quality Assurance:** * Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. **Safety:** * Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health \& Safety procedures. * Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice. **Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:** * Full\-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university. * MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. * Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage. **Industry Specific Experience:** * Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil \& Gas industry in offshore projects. * Must have vast design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years’ at least, leading a team of process discipline engineers and designers. * Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the process discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi\-disciplinary projects and teams. **IT Skills** : **Simulations** * Aspen suite, Hysys, Pipesys, FlareNet * PRO\-II **Flow Assurance** * PipeNet * Pipesim * PVTSim/OLGA * PipePhase * TLNET * Fathom **Moving forward together** We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
