The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing quotations, and supporting procurement and project teams to achieve optimal value for money while maintaining required quality and standards. Responsibilities and Duties * Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials and procurement across various projects. * Analyze supplier quotations and compare prices and costs. * Conduct market research and monitor material prices and pricing trends. * Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project teams to identify requirements. * Prepare cost analysis reports and recommendations for cost reduction. * Review technical specifications to ensure alignment with estimated costs. * Support tendering processes and provide financial estimates for bids. * Monitor price changes and their impact on budgets. * Maintain databases of material costs and benchmark prices. * Ensure estimation accuracy and alignment with project plans. * Collaborate with suppliers to obtain the most competitive commercial offers.
