Opportunities for strategic planning and value-engineering **Job Vacancy – Estimator (Landscape Industry)** **Position:** Estimator **Industry:** Landscaping **Location:** Doha, Qatar We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Estimator** to join our professional project delivery team. This is a critical role for an expert with a deep background in the **landscape industry**, specifically those with a proven track record in managing large, prestigious projects. **Key Responsibilities** * **Tender \& Bid Management:** Lead the full lifecycle of tender submissions, from initial analysis and RFQ review to final negotiation and submission. Ensure 100% of bids are submitted by deadlines. * **Cost Estimation \& Budgeting:** Build tender prices from first principles based on project scope, plans, and specifications. Develop comprehensive project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle. * **Subcontractor \& Vendor Relations:** Actively manage the subcontractor selection process, including soliciting bids, conducting "bid day" analysis, ensuring proper scope alignment, and securing competitive pricing. * **Strategic Planning:** Provide value\-engineering solutions on every bid, develop RFIs, and manage technical clarifications. * **Project Turnover:** Facilitate a seamless transition from the estimation phase to project execution by reviewing drawings, job costs, and schedules with the Project Management team. * **Data Management:** Maintain accurate project data using **Timberline** and manage all relevant documentation. **Requirements** * **Experience:** A minimum of **6–8 years of professional experience specifically within the Landscape industry** is mandatory. * **Track Record:** Proven experience in handling large\-scale, prestigious landscape projects. * **Competencies:** Exceptional attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and a high level of resourcefulness. * **Communication:** Ability to represent the company in pre\- and post\-contract interviews and client meetings. * Ability to join **immediately**. * **Valid QID with transferable sponsorship (NOC)**. * Candidates currently based in Qatar will be given preference. **How to Apply** If you possess the required landscape\-specific experience and are ready to contribute to high\-profile projects, please submit your updated CV/Resume through one of the following channels **Email:** gir.basnet\_hr@oliveraqa.com *Please note: This is a full\-time position.
