Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies The Site Engineer \- Drainage will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of infrastructure projects under the WSP GEC framework with Ashghal. This role involves direct involvement in drainage construction activities, ensuring that all work adheres to project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The engineer will coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to achieve project goals and maintain effective communication throughout the process. * Supervise and oversee drainage construction activities on\-site, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality standards are met. * Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on\-site. * Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. * Review and approve contractor work, providing feedback and guidance to ensure alignment with project requirements. * Manage and maintain accurate records of drainage construction activities, including daily reports and documentation. * Identify and address any non\-conformances or deviations from project plans, taking corrective actions as necessary. * Liaise with the project team and clients to provide updates on drainage construction progress and any critical issues. * Ensure timely and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including regular status reports. * Support the project manager in achieving project objectives and maintaining project schedule and budget. * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in drainage construction or related infrastructure projects. * Strong knowledge of drainage design, construction techniques, and relevant industry standards. * Proficiency in project management principles and practices, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships. * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. * Proficient in using relevant software and tools for project management and documentation. * Valid professional engineering license or eligibility to obtain one. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required by project needs. * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. * MMUP registration mandatory
