Summary: Seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, analyze data, and contribute to process improvement and financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close. Hands-on experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills **Job description:** * Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable * Prepare the invoices. * Very good experience in accounts receivable. * Analyze financial information and summarize financial status * Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending * Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process * Provide input into the department’s goal\-setting process * Assist with Internal and external audits * Support month\-end and year\-end close process * Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Requirements * Proven experience as an accountant of at least 5 years * Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures * Awareness of business trends * Familiarity with financial accounting statements * Experience with general ledger functions and the month\-end/year\-end close process * Hands\-on experience with accounting software packages * Advanced MS Excel skills * BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant * With a Qatar driving license and a personal car * Experienced in the construction industry * Ready to join immediately * The candidate must be available in Qatar with a QID and NOC to transfer his sponsorship.
