Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced **Senior Accountant** to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in managing accounting functions within a fast\-paced business environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts. * Ensure compliance with company policies and local financial regulations. * Prepare and review VAT reports and tax\-related documentation. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. * Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. * Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes. * Monitor cash flow and support management with financial insights. * Supervise junior accounting staff when required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum **5\+ years of accounting experience** (experience in trading/distribution companies is an advantage). * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Proficiency in accounting software and **Microsoft Excel**. * Experience with ERP systems is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Good communication and problem\-solving abilities.
