Develop and maintain efficient financial systems **Role Description** This is a full\-time on\-site role for an Accountant at Taqat located in Doha, Qatar. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting financial analysis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross\-functional teams and provide financial guidance and insight to support business decisions. **Responsibilities** * Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. * Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data. * Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit \& loss statements, etc. * Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities. * Maintaining accurate financial records. * Performing audits and resolving discrepancies. * Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting. * Assisting management in the decision\-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. * Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations to clients on financial matters. * Preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. * Providing guidance to clients on financial management, including budgeting, cash flow management, and investment strategies. * Developing and maintaining financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Conducting audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. * Liaising with clients, banks, and other financial institutions to manage their financial affairs. * Staying up\-to\-date with changes in accounting standards and tax laws to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting * Proficiency in accounting software * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and organizational skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English * Ability to work independently and in a team\-oriented environment * Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CFA, CIMA, CMA, CPA). * At least 3 years of experience in accounting * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Experience: * Accounting: 5 years Language: * Arabic Native (Required) Location: * Doha (Required) Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Language: * Arabic native (Required) Location: * Doha (Required)
